Famous People Who Have Made a Difference

The children L-O-V-E-D creating their lifelike biography portraits and speaking in their famous person's voice.  They learned about the inventions of Thomas Alva Edison and Benjamin Franklin, uncovered the determination of Orville and Wilbur Wright, the courage of Amelia Earhart, Helen Keller, Mother Teresa, and Jackie Robinson, and they were inspired by John F. Kennedy, Juliette Gordon Low, J.K. Rowling, and Beverly Cleary. Our biography focus was two-fold; to develop stronger research skills and to connect that information to our own lives.

  3. Wow! Very Cool! I really enjoyed learning about all the famous people, especially Wilbur Wright (right!). The stories about Benjamin Franklin, Hellen Keller, Jackie Robinson and Juliet Gordon Low were really interesting (along with all the others). I hope we can see more chatterpix in the future!
