Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

Mrs. Joyce Bergsten, a former Steward School second grade teacher visited our classroom to share one of Dr. Seuss' books with the children, to help us celebrate his birthday, and to kick-off Read Across America.

The children learned that this book was written by Jack Prelutsky using Dr. Seuss' ideas & pencil sketches.

Hooray for Diffendoofer Day!

Mrs. Bergesten reminded us that Dr. Seuss' real name was Theodor Geisel.
